I live in the Midwest with my husband, James, and our daughter, whom I homeschool. I treasure time spent with our son and daughter-in-law and love snuggling my twin grandsons. Alongside my commitment to instilling godly character in my own children, I’ve had the privilege of mentoring teens and young women throughout most of my Christian life. Over the years, I’ve also led and participated in various prayer ministries.
Whether I’m tending vegetables and herbs in my garden or creating something delicious and healing in the kitchen, I find joy in the simple, meaningful rhythms of life. As a licensed massage therapist, I am honored to walk with others on their journey toward health and wholeness—spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically.
Becoming an author was a dream I didn’t know I had. I’ve always loved writing, but it was through teaching my children to write well that my passion deepened and my skills sharpened. When God began nudging me to share all I’d learned about cultivating Christlike character, I resisted at first—I knew nothing about publishing a book! But as He often does, God won my heart, I surrendered, and Off with the Old, On with the New was born. It’s been an adventurous and faith-building journey ever since.
